After graduating from Yale Law School, Mr. Buhl practiced
general corporate, real estate and commercial transaction law for 40
years, representing large and small business entities, financial institutions,
governmental agencies and individuals. He has extensive experience in
negotiating and closing complex transactions involving the sale, purchase
and financing of business and real estate assets, as well as, construction
and development financing for large commercial projects. He has also
tried a number of commercial cases in federal and state courts. He has
gained extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution through
the representation of many clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings,
as well as, the negotiation of workouts and settlements when underlying
commercial deals have not met the parties’ original expectations.
He has been a registered mediator and arbitrator in Georgia for more
than two years and has mediated numerous civil, domestic relations and
domestic violence cases through court related ADR programs in Georgia.
He has also been a court appointed arbitrator in a case involving a residential
construction dispute.

and domestic violence mediation with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution
